We sat down with the 2019 Associates for our new SCS Associate Consultant Program to learn a little more about them and to find out what they are most looking forward to during this program. Give a big welcome to Cassie, John and Jacob!
Meet Cassie Quinn!
Who has been your biggest role model in your life? What was the most important thing you learned from them?
My biggest role model would have to be my Grandma. She is the hardest working woman I’ve known, and made sure to always keep positive. Her constant optimism, dedication, and regard for others in everything she did radiated from her, and I hope to live the same way.
What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee?
I would like to meet with James Cordon. I just have a feeling he and I would have a fun time.
What are you most looking forward to during this program?
I am most looking forward to the learning opportunities we are receiving. Obviously there is a huge emphasis on training, but having only three of us in training sessions provides a personal level to our understanding that is truly rare. On top of that, we have the opportunity to observe our coworkers using the topics we have learned in action, adding another level to the learning that will stick with us.
Meet John Horton, II!
Who has been your biggest role model in your life? What was the most important thing you learned from them?
My parents hands down. They showed me the importance of hard work. Through their action I learned that I could achieve anything I want if I have the courage and discipline to work for it.
What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee?
Ahh that’s a hard questions there’s a lot on my list but I’ll say Jay Z right now.
What are you most looking forward to during this program?
I’m excited to learn and actually use the what I learn in real world situations. I’m also really excited to see how the solutions we create helps the client business improve, that’s the best part.
Meet Jacob Prouty!
Who has been your biggest role model in your life? What was the most important thing you learned from them?
My father is the biggest role model in my life. No matter what I have going on or whatever problem I have, he always has a solution for me and is always willing to drop everything to help me. He has taught me a ton in life, everything from helping me starting my own business to teaching me how to handle tough situations and to never let a situation or issue take too much of your attention and never let it worry you too much.

What are you most looking forward to during this program?
Having the opportunity to receive formal training from established professionals that have been in their respective positions for numerous years is something that really sold me on SCS. I am really looking forward to being able to go through the training sessions with them and learn firsthand from their experiences, along with their knowledge of the software programs we are going to be using.
