Includes an annual monetary and comp day budget for training
Burnsville, MN (November 30, 2009) — Superior Consulting Services (SCS), a technology firm that combines highly experienced IT professionals with Microsoft products and tools to solve business problems, announced the continuation of its unrivaled benefits package for consultants including an annual monetary and comp day budget for training.
“In a time when many companies are cutting benefits programs, SCS is excited to support the continuing education of our consultants as they proactively seek out opportunities to stay ahead of ever-changing technology,” said John Miller, president of Superior Consulting Services.
The annual $1,500 budget, which can be used for books, classes, online learning, seminars and travel expenses, and one paid day off per quarter to pursue learning goals, is also available to administrative staff and sales personnel. SCS designed the program so that team members can choose the training events, style and agenda that is right for them.
The training benefit, which SCS employees say surpasses the programs offered by other consulting firms in the market, has helped support seven SCS consultants in the completion of 10 Microsoft certification tests just this year alone. “We are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner so having consultants up-to-date on their latest offerings is very important to SCS, as well as our clients, and we are delighted to see our consultants achieving new certification levels with the help of this program,” said Miller.
As an incentive for team members participating in the benefit, SCS awards consultants with $150 for every test passed and increases their salary by $3,000 for every new certification level achieved.
