Mark Herzog, Chief of Staff

Mark Herzog is a versatile leader who has owned his own technology consulting business and held a number of strategic technology management positions since 1985. As Chief of Staff  and a partner at SCS, Mark works closely with clients to understand their business challenges and deliver innovative solutions to these business-critical problems. He also provides strategic project direction, ensuring projects are accurately scoped, teams are optimally staffed and projects are successfully delivered.  

Prior to joining SCS, Mark was President of Contour Systems, an independent firm delivering Microsoft-based solutions. Previously, he spent more than a decade at Target Stores, where he held strategic planning, business analysis, project management, and software development roles for one of the company’s eight headquarters divisions and managed a staff of developers that provided solutions for a dozen varied departments. Mark also has considerable experience providing disaster planning and software development project review services for corporations.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
