John Miller, President & General Manager

Superior Consulting Services President & General Manager John Miller founded the company in 1997. Today, John is responsible for the company’s overall strategic direction as well as developing and maintaining client relationships and overseeing day-to-day operations and the sales staff. Under John’s leadership, SCS has built an impressive network of hundreds of clients and has become the “go to” company for many leading firms in the greater Twin Cities area.

John spent the first 15 years of his career as a high school biology teacher, a role he credits for earning him a solid foundation of management, sales and account control skills that were needed to effectively deal with the multiple demands of classroom activity, students and parents.

John received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN and a Master of Science degree from Minnesota State in Mankato, MN. John is a member of Executive Group in Twin Cities, MN and TechServe Alliance (formerly NACCB). He is an active supporter of The Starkey Hearing Foundation and the Northern Star Council, and has been honored for his service to MacPhail Center for Music, Community Action Council and North Central/Boy Scouts of America.
